I am not finding the project here Maybe its the Prospect Bridge replacement? Its supposed to be a 3 mile swath between Prospect and Van Brunt. They are supposed to be removing a couple of exits, and I guess making it “beautiful”, and hopefully, Giving us on-ramps with room to merge, AND AND AND, hopefully, they will have provisions for a train. I’d hate to spend a ton of money only to tear it all up in 6 years so we can send a train from downtown to the sports complex or farther. Independence center, and blue springs will be great destinations along with a few stops in between. I’m not sure if its still set aside, but Blue Springs set aside land for it way back in 2020-2005. Probably hoping Clay Chastain’s bill that passed in 2005/2006 would come out there eventually.
